Today we are venturing into something which not many of us know about – meditation. Although this has been a practice of our Prophet peace be upon him. In fact in the cave of light or Nur, connecting with Almighty Allah started by contemplation about the universe.

Juma’at is a day of great benefits for Muslims. Brothers are gathered for weekly prayer instead of Zohor while those at work get relief from the upcoming weekends. Sisters take heart from the fruits of their labour all days.
What better way to start by learning about meditation. In heart rhythm meditation, one automatically and easily releases tension from our mind and body.
Tips to be joyous and blissful:
1. Iqra – read!
2. Build silaturrahmi or human relationships!
3. Helping the needy and be grateful that we are not in need!
4. Trust the power of Allah and bear with patience and acceptance over losses, whether lives or properties!
5. Pamper ourselves or give gifts to each other. Prophet Muhammad says:
make gifts to one another for gifts remove rancour from the chest (Tirmidhi)
