MENDAKI is looking for volunteers to become Befrienders in their Befriending Programme.
This programme aims to help families that face multiple and entrenched problems and help them to turn their lives around. The role of a Befriender is to offer support and encouragement to the family to follow through a case management plan by the social worker from the Family Service Centre. The Befriender can do this through frequent phonecalls and/or home visits.
