A new Intern!

Well after a long search, we’ve finally found our Intern Programmer. Well he’s kind of new to the concept of becoming a Web programmer cos he just finish two semesters of Programming in Java. Nevertheless these are the rare breed that we are looking for.

Did you know out of 300 students from NUS, School of Computing, only 30 or less are Muslims and once they graduate only a handful ( 1 or 2 ) become FULL time programmers. The others probably become System administrators or do other things. So what have happen? Well honestly its a field you need to have passion in.

As a programmer you are also equivalent to a scientist except that you deal mostly with codes and ever so many codes!! So yeah you need to love what you are doing and the for the very fact programming languages evolves so fast that you need to be the kind who would constantly learn and be the one who invents. There’s no easy way out for this but they say if you understand one language, you can understand the others..Just be adaptable and insyallah it will be easy.

So therefore our company long term goal is not just not to make money ( We do require that to sustain and grow ). We want to also build up the community by training professionals, we will teach them the relevant skills and knowledge required and put them into real projects. It does not really matter if they join us later or not, its the upbringing that matters.

So let’s welcome Shahideen into the Family. He’s from NUS going to Year 2.  ( We don’t have his picture at the moment )
