Alhamdulillah the residents in Sengkang, Hougang and Punggol can now rejoice with the building of a new mosque at Compassvale Bow. With Buangkok MRT & Renjong LRT nearby, this mosque would prove to be accessible for those living in the North-East.
The dominant brown and geometric & modern architecture is a feast for the eyes while still retaining the traditional star & crescent design.
Tomorrow marks their official opening insyaAllah and gracing the event would be the Mufti of Singapore Syed Isa Semait and MP Yaacob Ibrahim. For all those who are nearby or who are able to come, why not have your Friday prayers at Masjid Al-Mawaddah instead of your usual mosque?
