In conjunction with the Prophet’s SAW Isra’ Mi’raj, Al-Istiqamah’s Youth Wing Arrijal has organised a night cycling event from 830pm till 9am the next morning! The route includes going through Bugis, The Padang and the Memorial Park.

Do not fret, dinner, breakfast and bicycles will be provided for only $15. On top of that, you will also learn more about the Prophet’s SAW miraculous journey of Isra’ wal Mi’raj.

This is happening on 8th of August (Friday) and will end on Saturday, 9th of August. As this event is open to people of all ages, why not convince your relatives and parents to come down too? It would be a great family event or you could always get your friends to join you.

If you are interested, you can contact Ustaz Izhar at 6281 4287 or 8115 9205. You can also go to http://arrijalyouth.blogspot.com. Registration is done at the mosque counter and will close on 7th of August so sign up fast!

If you are not keen on cycling but do want to be involved in something else that night, An-Nahdhah Mosque and Al-Muttaqin Mosque have joined forces to organise a Qiyammulail event on the very same night! (8th August till 9th August)

Their event is called 1 Nite Sunnah and they aim to create awareness about certain practices of the Prophet Muhammad SAW before, during and after Ramadhan. Learn about them, understand them and practise them while participating in this event!

The event starts after Asar prayers at Al-Muttaqin Mosque and you will be walking to An-Nahdhah Mosque. Along the way, there will be games where you will learn about the Sunnah. Upon reaching An-Nahdhah Mosque, you will perform Maghrib prayers and there will be a talk also on the Sunnah and the Prophet SAW.

Later on, you will get to do Qiyammulail and the event will end after Fajr prayers. For more enquiries, please contact Ain at 93809564. This event is open to youths between the ages of 15 – 24!
