FAQ on our Aqiqah Services

1. Where is the Aqiqah done?
   It is performed in Semarang, Indonesia.
2. When should Aqiqah be performed?
   It is best performed on the 7th, 14th or 21st day of the newborn’s life.
3. How do you count the 7, 14 or 21st day?
   For example your baby was born on 5th March BEFORE maghrib, 5th March is considered one full day and the 7th day is 11th March. If he is born AFTER maghrib on 5th March, the 7th day is 12th March.
4. Do we get to eat the meat from our Aqiqah?
   No. The meat is distributed to the poor in Semarang, Indonesia.
5. How do we know the Aqiqah was done?
   You will receive an Aqiqah certificate with your newborn’s name, a before-slaughter picture of the goat assigned to your newborn, and an after-slaughter picture of the goat.
