Another Carnival coming up this weekend on the 8th of August 2009 from 9am to 6pm organised by Madrasah Aljunied to raise funds for the Madrasah. Venue will be at Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah – 30 Victoria Lane Singapore 198424.
Like the years before, the Madrasah Students will be opening their own booths or games stall. So expect a lot of food and fun there.
Project CD
Have you heard of Project CD? In this carnival you are entitled to own Syamil’s CD?
You may wonder who is Syamil? Ah its not the AlQuran Syamil ok. Syamil is Madrasah Aljunied’s Singing Idol who won one of their Nasyid Competitions a few years back. Syamil has since cut two albums since he won the competition.
So part of Project CD is to INFAQ only $20 to Madrasah Aljunied and you will be entitled to get Syamil’s latest CD for FREE.
Also by purchasing the coupons you are eligible to win 2 Umrah Packages sponsored by Jalaluddin Travel & Services for the Lucky Draw. The winner will be announced from 5pm to 6pm on that day.

Did you know that Madrasah Aljunied will be having a Fund Raising Concert – Malam Kebudayaan Islam in December?
If our sources are right, a display of Nasyids, Angklung Performances and guest artists ( We cannot say out yet ) from overseas and local. Venue will be at Fort Canning Park.
So for those who purchase the coupons are also entitled a FREE TICKET to that Concert. But only 5,000 tickets will be given away. Priority will be given to those who already bought the Project CD Tickets.

For the first time ever, in line with the activities, they have tied down with a group of Harley Davidson Riders to support this Carnival.

For a small fee, you can get a chance to ride on this NOISY Harley Davidson. For every single penny earn from the rides will also be donated for the Madrasah Funds.
