IslamicEvents.sg was conceived while the founders were (and are still) in NUS (the National University of Singapore), as were their friends, Hafihz.com and Boyz2Man. And then, there were also At-Tawwakal and N.U.S. (or you can arrage the 3 letters in other ways!), nasyid groups formed by their close friends who have the same passion for Islam.
N.U.S. while an acronym for their alma mater, are also acronyms for their respective names, Naufal, Ully(Faydzully) and Shahrill (warning: jual koyok session!). These close friends among others also often meet up for their so-called “Quran-jamming session”, or for the layman – “talaqqi and qira’ah session”. As such, their voice and tone really improves as time goes by. Recently they were invited to perform for an event in NLB. As close friends, IslamicEvents.sg was there to give its unrelenting support and catch up for teh.
