No no no.. Its not our company Vision or close to it. Neither is ALFADILAH a girl’s name. Visions 2009/2010 is the annual magazine publication by National University of Singapore Muslim Society or for short NUSMS and Al Fadilah is the theme for this years magazine which also means the Virtues.

We were invited to their launch yesterday at FIKA Cafe with over 80-90 attendees. When we arrived, we were greeted by the President of NUSMS, Bro Muhammad Al Baqir and had a brief chat with him and other sponsors around the table.

As the event started, the hosts open up the event by inviting the President – Bro Muhammad Al Baqir for the opening speech, followed by the Project Director – Sufina and their Chief Editor – Hasan.

Each of the invited guest was then handed over a piece of this magazine.

Let these pictures speak for themselves…

Overall this magazine is really well done. Unlike the previous years, this year’s photography shots are definitely awesome and kudos to committee for doing a super job in the design area.

The contents

Honestly I have not read through all the contents yet. Just glimpses of it and some paragraphs here and there. As the Chief Editor, Hasan mentions in his speech, the objective for this magazine is not merely to pass on information but also to create discussion among the readers.

So if you are keen on picking this up, be ready to be engaged.

Only 1000 copies

NUSMS have only printed 1000 copies for Free Distribution to their members and selected members of public. They don’t have enough to go around to the masses.   If I am not wrong it will be distributed to other Muslim Societies, Mosques, Muslim Organisations such AMP, Mendaki, etc. So look out for it when you drop by those places.
